Data Deletion
This page explains how to disconnect Meta/Instagram from Woven and how to request deletion of personal information and connected-account data held by Woven.
1. Disconnect Instagram from Woven
To stop Woven from using a connected Instagram account, sign in to Woven, open Connections, choose the connected Instagram account and select Disconnect. Disconnecting removes Woven's stored access credential for that connection, marks the connection as revoked and cancels queued or scheduled posts that have not started publishing.
2. Request deletion of Woven-held data
If you want data deleted rather than only disconnecting the account, sign in to Woven and open Help & feedback. Submit a request using the Account or connection category and write Data deletion request in the message. Tell us whether you want deletion of connected Meta/Instagram data only or deletion of your Woven account data more broadly.
3. What a verified deletion request can remove
Depending on the scope of your request, Woven can remove or de-identify connected social-account identifiers and profile metadata, stored access credentials, workspace profile information, saved brand context, generated or uploaded content, schedules and other account data associated with your use of Woven.
4. Information that may be retained
Some records may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, billing, dispute resolution, legal obligations or backup integrity. Where retention is required, Woven limits the retained information to the purpose that requires it and does not continue using disconnected Meta/Instagram credentials.
5. Processing time
Woven reviews deletion requests after verifying that the requester is authorized to act for the account. Verified requests are processed without undue delay and normally within 30 days, unless applicable law requires a different period.
6. Meta and Instagram data outside Woven
Deleting data from Woven does not delete information that Instagram or Meta stores in their own services. To delete data held directly by Meta or Instagram, use the privacy and account controls provided in those services.
7. More information
For more information about how Woven collects, uses and protects information, read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
